This is a website for the Levite Jewish Community Center in Birmingham, al. It is a wonderful center with an accredited child care center.

Jalice, it was great to explore the website of the Levite Jewish Community Center. There is much to learn from looking at other nonprofits. The Center offers many options for enrichment, care and education for parents of young children. I loved their vision statement... 'a place where people of all faiths and communities come together for wellness of mind, body and soul' Beautiful! -Susan
ReplyDeleteJalice,
ReplyDeleteThank you for the link to All for the boys. I will be checking this site often for ideas for my son.
I am a firm believer that boys and girls can share the same interests, but at the same time need to be treated differently when it comes to learning. In school settings, boys are often punished for being boys and the way boys are viewed in school is often detrimental to their learning.

I completely agree with BethAnn! I was so excited to see this link. I have 3 girls and one boy. I sometimes feel that he is getting lost in the color pink and the pretty princesses.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for the link about little boys. There were topics from fashion to inspiration to food. I enjoyed reading about it and have passed it on to my daughter who has a son aged 6.
